With rural hospital closures on the rise there are various drivers for value-based payments. Rural hospitals are pursuing new models of payment and delivery and identifying factors driving them to make decisions surrounding closure. This session aims to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the managed care system and identify opportunities for local hospitals to operate with positive revenue.
