Join us for a site visit to the Salton Sea, where we’ll explore the intersection of environment, economics, and community. On day one we will delve into Lithium Valley with a tour of the geothermal field, and a viewing of a lithium demonstration facility. We plan to engage with locals in a community panel to hear their experiences living around the Salton Sea. Day 2 cohorts will split to delve into more specific policy areas including workforce development and conservation efforts.
